Tool 6 Reflection

The tools I chose to promote discussion are Today's Meet and Poll Everywhere. I would use Today's meet to get the students to dialog about a topic we are discussing. It could provide a backchannel discussion. One idea is to use it while we are watching a Discovery Education video on a Science topic. (If both things could be viewed at once.) I also like to have accountability during a Science Video and this could provide that.

I would use Poll everywhere to get student feedback on learning. It is very useful and helps guide my instruction when I hear from the students how they learn best. For different Math topics,I use different methods of instruction and it is useful for me to get the students feedback. I can also create a poll and the students can see how the data is collected and form a graph from the polls.
