Reflection on Tool 5
I chose to do a Wordle and a Trading Card for the Web 2.0 Tools. I use math menus in my class to differentiate instruction. The students can choose to create a wordle to demonstrate knowledge of math vocabulary of a particular concept. Trading Cards can be used to show knowledge of a concept or skill. They can also be used to reinforce math skills. They can chose to use the other tools as well when they are choosing activities on the math menu.

For your trading cards...just for a fun activitiy..have students research famous mathematicians...Lisa Bacon used to have the students do this...and they were surprised to see where some of the words in math comes from. By reporting on the mathematicians..they had a connection to the words...helped them remember the math vocabulary...
